The Star & Garter restaurant is Oamaru’s oldest restaurant and café, serving delicious Kiwiana food at its finest from fresh local blue cod, our famous seafood chowder, hearty lamb shanks, to rarely found lambs fry, chicken enchiladas and everything yummy in between.
