Grants Rd Loop

From Kurow, head east along the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle Trail (A2O), exiting down the Oteake River flood route (11km in) which brings you out nearly opposite Grants Rd.

Exit through the gate, cross SH83, head up Grants Rd to the top and veering right, carry on down Otiake Rd back to SH83. Turn left and bike carefully along the main road for about 3km to the winery where you’ll cross over re-joining the A2O and bike back to Kurow.

Mix of farm track, gravel track with wandering stock and stream crossings.
